I'm having a such a lovely Saturday...just having fun in my hooking/sewing room. With hubby retired...I rarely get anytime alone anymore...love him home...but I also love some alone time. My room has not been occupied in quite some time..so I'm having fun poking around. Here are a few pictures...Have a wonderful day!
Watching Jane Austen's "Emma".
Keep stitching and order carry out! lol! Love that sign! I like the way you have your dmc stored too... is that from a hobby store? or a home depot type place?
So glad you are enjoying your Saturday. That Melissa is a bad influence!!! She took me to the Ault's and MADE me buy wool. BAD MELISSA!!! Hugs :) Lauren
Hi Sharon...thank you for your commment...those bins are from Walmart. I am sure they were not meant for embroidery floss..lol! They are in the hardware section (by the nails and screws) and sell for $10 each. I have two of them and could really use one more. Very light weight.
Hey Lauren....bad, bad Melissa!!! I'm sure she really had to twist your arm!! I am still in need of reversible black..I am hoping I will have enough to finish my rug. Have a great day!!
I'm with Sharon...love the Keep Stitching notice and the floss organization...been playing in my sewing room today too...listening to an audio book and puttering around...a very relaxing day...
Have fun in there! I can't imagine better company than Emma - I just love her. Well, now I guess if Mr. Darcy happened along, I might have to turn my attention to him. LOL. ~Ann
I understand completely how you feel. My husband is disabled and the kids are homeschooled. I suffer from 'never-alone-itis' myself. So much so that I have the hardest time getting work for my shop done. I love your studio and your view. Here in SE Texas we rarely see snow like that.
