Ahhhhhh.....another wonderful day spent hooking at Holly Hill's like a dream come true!!  Such a wonderful group of women all sharing the common love of rug hooking, wool, primitives, shopping...It's just the most perfect way to spend an afternoon!
This, of course, is Dawn.....the proprietress of Holly Hills Primitives...we didn't see her doing any hooking today....but she sure was enjoying the heck out of that humongous peanut butter cookie!  Dawn must have been hungry cuz I didn't hear her offer any of us a piece of it...hmmmm...and how does she manage to stay so thin????   Oh yeah...I know how....she moves complete stores, just her and her hubby in a matter of 2 days...yep...that''ll keep you in shape!
This is Bonnie...Wonderful hooker....  Although you can't tell by the expression on her face, but she is quite happy with her little "Button" rug.  It is so sweet!  Next time I'll give her fair warning before I snap the camera!! Sorry, Bonnie!
Pat was hooking away on a geometric design from Kris Miller's, Spruce Ridge.  It is a lovely rug and she has done a great job with it...although she hinted that the small circles were driving her a bit crazy!
Sally was putting the binding around her rug.  Such beautiful colors!  Lucky girl...she is leaving for the Brimfield Antique Show on Sunday!!  What a blast she'll have!  I hope she'll find some treasures!
This is Sue...she was putting the binding around her beautiful rug "Mr. McGregor"
This is Sue #2.....such a riot!  I met Sue a couple of years ago at a hooking class taught by Barb Carroll in Shelby Oh.    She was a joy to be with then and is still now.....We still talk about the fun time we all had and I always tell her that I have NEVER in my life laughed so hard as I did back then..she always has some funny one-liners!  Oh......and yes...she was hooking a chair pad.
Well...tomorrow is the 4th of July....We have a big parade we're going to early and then a small gathering with the kids at our house.  Everyone have a wonderful day...enjoy and be safe!  And God Bless America!!
