LOVING LINEN & VELVET

Beautiful, spotted, vintage linen....I love it!  It's great to sew with and wonderful to stitch on.... I picked these two linen towels up last weekend...


Then, today, I received these two luscious fat quarters of hand dyed velvet from The Old Tattered Flag.  I can't wait to  make them into pinkeeps... They have a nice, old feel to them and the colors are so nice.

    Hi Bobbie - such beautiful Velvet! They will look just wonderful made up.
    I have never worked on that kind of linen although I don't cross stitch so I guess I wouldn't lol.

    I like how aged, the velvet looks. I was gifted with velvet yardage and some is too bright, I will have to try dying some.

    Beautiful velvet. If you finish anything before Sauder, bring it along. Sauder will be such a good get away. Always so much fun.
