Yes it is!! The busiest to be sure! This is my favorite time of the year...the days leading up to Christmas. Whether you have a big family or not, or lots of company or not....most everyone seems to get wrapped up the festivities. I've been making a few things here and there....including the cotton batting Santa's that I made for my friend's shop in Holly. They are so much fun to make!!
Just a few pictures around the house...I'll add more next week. Although, it seems like a lot of decorations, I honestly didn't even touch half of my storage totes! So here goes...
My little coffee/cocoa bar I set up for entertaining...I have three get-together's planned.
My sewing wall-pocket I made for a gift for our Holly Hooker gift exchange....I'll post pictures of that party this weekend. So much fun! There are 12 of us...and each gift had to be hand-made by the giver...and I have to say...all of the gifts were beautiful!!
This is the sewing pouch or tote I received from Pat. It is beautiful!!! She is phenomenal quilter and does tons of quilting with needle turned applique .
Then.....my friend Teresa Kogut...artist, painter, designer of cross stitch designs, designer of punch needle design, and designer of rug hooking designs...finally has been filming some FlossTube videos on YouTube. I'm unable to paste the direct link (with this MacBook), but if you go to YouTube and in the search bar type in:
Flosstube Teresa Kogut-Creative Whims Studio
You'll be able to view her videos. She is a wonderful artist and has been designing for companies for years, plus selling on her on-line shop and shows around the country.
I'll post more pictures this week....sorry I've been a bad blogger...I haven't even been on FB that much..this social media thing is a time stealer that I have to control..otherwise...I'd get nothing done!!
