TOO HOT TO WEED

.....at least that's what I'm telling my husband....I worked outside for a bit and thought I was going to die.  I think I sweat off a gallon of water per hour.  Totally drenched!   I've never been a fan of the heat....60's-70's are more to my liking...but, it beats the winters.

I stayed in all day yesterday, laundry, cleaning, and stitching.  I made these little thread drops and of course had to make some jewelry to go along with them.  I had to cancel my Rebekah L Smith class, which was going to be held at my house in August.....I was so excited, but like everything else...the world is on hold for now...oh well...next year!

They were fun to make and a nice and fancy way to hold your floss while stitching.  Certainly, not necessary...but fun!

Our little Catherine turned two months old last week.  We can't wait to see her again!!

Our other three youngest grand daughters...we now have 13 grand children....8 girls and 5 boys.  I just love when we all get together!

I hope you're all having a nice Sunday and staying cool!  Take care!

  1. Thirteen? That's a lot of birthday and Christmas gifts but you probably have fun shopping for them. I was thinking about making some drops but I guess I'm too lazy to buy the supplies and punch. I do love the patterns you chose and the "jewelry".

  2. Your thread drops are too cute!
Hard to believe Catherine is already two months old.
We need a do-over for 2020. Sad about your Rebekah class. I just heard thru the grapevine that another October hook in has been cancelled. So sad.

It must be fun when you are all together!
    Take care.
